Susan and I went to a barbecue at the Bourgeous's home last night. There were a lot of people there from the ward. We enjoyed the hamburgers and all the other food, but the punch was kind of watery, although they really tried to put enough sugar in the punch. Susan enjoyed talking with all the people, and I enjoyed it too. I ate 2 hamburgers, and some yummy dessert.
And then we went home and listened to a message from Michael about his November wedding.

Hey David! We're doing pretty well here. Nate is doing well in his new class. He took a quiz last week and got the highest score in the class! He's been very dedicated to his schoolwork. He stays at school until 7:30 each night to study and I'm happy to see that it is paying off. Other than that it's the same old thing for us. Hope you guys are doing well.
